Elmiron Lawsuits
- Elmiron, or pentosan polysulfate sodium, is an oral prescription drug used to treat discomfort or bladder pain associated with interstitial cystitis, or IC, a chronic condition that causes bladder pain and pressure.
- Millions of patients have been prescribed Elmiron, with most medication users being women, and the drug often used long-term. While the drug has had mild side effects, new studies are reporting that the drug’s long-term use is toxic to the retina. The retina is the tissue behind the eye that senses light.
- Users of the drug Elmiron also reported symptoms of areas of vision loss in the field of vision, paracentral scotoma, difficult time adjusting to dim lighting or the dark, having a hard time reading, problems seeing objects that are close and vision dimming.
KALIS, KLEIMAN & WOLFE will seek compensation for you if you have taken Elmiron and suffered Maculopathy or other serious vision problems.
Please note that in some matters, KALIS, KLEIMAN & WOLFE may co-counsel or refer the case to another lawyer or law firm.
